The LED will blink once, then remain solid. Step 3: Enter the 3-digit code using the number keys. The LED will blink as each number is pushed. If LED turns off after entering the 3rd digit, the remote has recognized the code. If the LED flashes, the code is not recognized and you will need to repeat this procedure using a different code.
Note: The remote may recognize the code but the device may not. These remote controls have bigger buttons and fewer options that make them much easier to see, program and operate.

Super-Sized Remotes There are also a number of over-sized TV remotes that are ideal for seniors with vision problems. Continue until the light stays solid on the remote. Push the "channel up" button. Each time you push the button, the remote will send a signal to the device to turn it on. Pause between each to allow the remote to connect. Repeat this process until the device comes on.
Select "OK" on the remote once the device comes on. Try all the functions on the remote to ensure it is working correctly. If not, repeat the process, skipping the first signal that turns the device on.
