This mod brings those four Lifetime Wants back, as your sim may want to reach the top levels of the Artist, Natural Science, Paranormal, or Showbusiness careers. As some sims may aspire to raise multiple pets or become Mayor, your sim may prefer a career as an Ecological Guru, a Visionary in the world of arts, or even a Cult Leader.
Secondly, cockroaches in the Sims are nasty little pests that spawn when the environment is dirty. They cause your sims an unbelievable level of discomfort by cancelling actions and distracting them until the issue is resolved. Well messy or neat, your sims now have been gifted with much better toilet etiquette as they will always flush after use. Many aspects of the Sims games have been dulled down, making the game accessible to a much younger audience. As you probably already know what Woohoo stands for in the game, the mod increases the odds of conceiving. Yes, elevators. The percentages used by the modder are even justified, as hot tub Woohoo would have a lower chance of resulting in pregnancy vs, say, if it were done in public.
The next three mods come in a pack from simlogical, all affecting how relationships play out in the game. All three aim to make relationship mechanics more realistic , starting off with the Break Up Anytime mod. As the title suggests, this enables the option for married, engaged, or going steady sims to break up regardless of the state of their relationship. And there are an unlimited number of reasons for that.
This mod leaves it completely up to you to decide. Maybe you were just messing around and someone got angrier than you expected. Maybe you even did it on purpose just for fun. Whatever it is, once a sim is infuriated with another, it may be difficult to repair the relationship. Apologizing now removes the furious state of angered sims, and the relationship rating is increased to just above 0. Considered by most as an essential Sims mod, ACR short for Autonomous Casual Romance allows your sim to engage in different romantic interactions of their own free will.
Sims are now able to flirt, kiss, and even Woohoo with other Sims casually, without requiring them to be in love beforehand. The mod can even make it possible for teens to engage in relationship-related activity, adding a completely new sense of realism to the game. One of the biggest features is that teens are now able to get pregnant as well.
Best paired with ACR, teens are not only able to have romantic interactions with other sims, but experience the same repercussions as well. The mod comes complete with interactions, maternity wear, and textures to now support teens and not just adults.
It also improves independence in teens, as sims over 18 can now even find their own place, follow adult career tracks, and are no longer required to attend school. Imagine playing an adult-style life with a kid in Sims 2! If you buy something we may get a small commission at no extra cost to you. The Token allows you to define a Sim as a prisoner using its Sentence option.
The Sim is then moved in as a resident if they are not already, and their previous family number is stored so they can go home when they are released. The Sim will expect to appear either near the token or under the Prisoner Assembly point - sentencing will fail if there is no space in the right place. After a few seconds, the prisoner's mugshot will appear on the token so you will know whose it is easily.
You can use the menu on this to lock its prisoner in or out of their cell, or leave it to the central controller to do the job on all cells at once.
Any token may "Opt out" of central control if you wish to treat its prisoner differently from the others. Security menu options are as for the Main Prison Controller above. You can also medicate your prisoner if they are having trouble sleeping. It will appear on the floor in the prisoners' cell when you select "Feed Prisoner" from the Token or the Main Controller's menu.
It has also been modified so that it is cleared by washing up, instead of being thrown in a bin, as this is more convenient in a prison situation. To customise escaping: Open ijPrisonerToken. Open the BCON resource inside the package. Make the first value higher for harder escapes or lower for easier escapes.
Make it '0' to stop escapes altogether. This will stop all escape planning and cell searches. The second value is how many keys they need to accumulate in order to escape into thin air without having to walk out. The higher the number the more keys they need to save up.
This can be done manually or automatically, or a combination of both. After any change of access state, the controller also sends the excluded Sims out of the room. It does this by sending them to their respective Assembly Points. You can get rid of stragglers by choosing "Manual Use as many of these as you need. Each one enables you to name up to 4 Sims from a menu of those who are on the Penal System career. Works together with the new career package to make the staff appear at the start of their shift, and change into their uniform, and then to go off duty at the end of their shift.
If you don't want to be restricted to the challenge of hiring only staff on the Penal System career with their set duty times, download this alternative pair of files ijSimpleStaffController. It should be in a corridor or similar where they can always access freely. This object also holds special code that the other objects use. Your game will crash if you try to play prisons without it.
You should only use one Prisoner Assembly Point per prison. At the moment there are no occasions when staff are thrown out of a room, but put one in the staff room ready : You should only use one Staff Assembly Point per prison. The best place for it is probably outside the prison gates, as it will probably be time for them to go home.
You should only use one Visitor Assembly Point per prison. You can use as many General Assembly Points as you like, to help move Sims around the lot when you want to. Makes them a bit upset. If you decide to edit this for your own purposes, be aware that the staff controller actually holds its own copy of the start hour, hours worked, days worked, and wages, so editing this would not automatically change the staffing arrangements at your prison.
The uniform however is stored solely with the career object, so changes to that would be reflected in your prison. TwoJeffs has incorporated checking for this in his Visitor Controller. The idea is that any Sim who has one of these in his inventory will not be seen apparently "escaped" and wandering around the shops!
Remove this from your Sim's inventory when their sentence is expired. These globals do not override any Maxis globals. All the above objects come in one zip file which can be downloaded by clicking this link ijPrisonCore. Place with green placement arrow pointing into the cell. Any Sim named on the Staff Controller will also be allowed to pass.
The door is responsive to the emergency locking options on the Prison Controller. Any Sim still in pyjamas or underwear will be automatically changed into "normal" outfit when leaving the cell. Inspired by doors currently being sold for prisons in the UK. The package contains the new mesh and all 6 colours shown; and of course you can make your own recolours.
Locking does not work on diagonal. To use this you will need Atavera's original non-hacked door first as that contains the mesh. Love your channel and blog! Currently going through a marathon Sims 2 setup ha. I noticed you have a few anti-corruption mods. But, I was doing some googling and noticed a bigger list here with more fixes too.
Do you recommend adding so many of these? I think my computer can handle it…. Should I just lower resolution or is there a way to scale the UI and make it bigger? I know Clean UI did some bigger fonts in places but like the catalog and sim bin for example are tiny at this resolution.
This is the way the mod is designed. Adult sims created in CAS are assumed to be average high school graduates so will be limited to level 5. If you use the batbox to give these sims college degrees, then they will get the level 10 limit just like other graduates.
If I create a Sim that I think should have a career above level five, I give them a college degree using the batbox. Changing their high school grades will not change their ceiling a grade of A, B, or C results in the same level five limit. The only thing that will change it is giving them a college degree. This mod allows Sims to work in ANY career up to level 5 without a degree. You may have another mod conflicting with this one if your Sims cannot take certain jobs from the noticeboard.
But I think you are right, it might not have something to do with this mod but another mod that, when operated in conjunction with this mod, causes this issue. For the day setter mod how do you use it? I am not sure how it would keep the ages in sync. It just allows you to change days. I use it when I move a Sim to a new house or move a family out. Because when you move a Sim to a new lot it is always Monday at AM.
But if you moved them out and it was actually Wednesday, you can use the day setter to change the day to Wednesday. I hate ghosts! I would never recommend deleting urns or graves in the Sims 2 even with the mod.

However, in my game, all the sims are in randomly named households, for example, ricky cormier is under the cormier household but so are alot of other townies.

I like it better because it works with University. The only issue I have is that it screws up pregnancy length if you send a pregnant Sim to a community lot.
They do but it takes time. Don Lothario had sex with a lot of women but he only loves couple of them in my games. And it makes sence. Poor Malcolm is constantly rejected sex by his own wife, Nina. I find so realistic. Sexual orientation actually matters with this mod. It basically allows pregnant sim to asdign father to the baby while not changing its genetics.

Lots are installed differently than CC and mods. Instead, extract the package file to your desktop and double click it. Wait a minute or two and an installer will appear asking you if you want to install the lot. Now you should find the lot in your lots and houses bin.

Actually, I am having two problems, first thing, last 3 are not working, commuting lot not passed and taxi is still free. No notification also come that the sim has brought this much money. What could be the issue for this. I had a similar issue and had to remove the taxis and cars cost money mods. They seems to conflict with community lot time.

Those mods alone will not crash your game. They are well-known, stable mods. You can use the Hack Conflict Detection Utility to check for mod conflicts. Google it.
