As an immigrant from South Korea, Jung is passionate for fighting racist attacks against the Asian community and embracing who we are, no more or any less. Jung have experience serving at the U. House of Representatives and is currently employed at the U. Jung am confident that his skills will be able to execute and implement many positive changes that will impact the Asian American and other marginalized community as we work towards racial justice for all.

She has researched diversity issues in substance abuse and mental health treatment and also best practices for recruitment, mentoring, and retention among faculty of color in counselor education programs.

She is also a certified rehabilitation counselor CRC. She is excited and passionate about bringing her expertise in diversity and inclusion outside of academia and into action in the community.

In her spare time, she enjoys reading, baking, cooking, and spending time with her favorite little guy, her 8 year old son Travis II. Tamar Oded has 20 years of nonprofit experience, including work in arts, education, and international organizations.

Most recently, Tamar was the director of Friends of Ofanim, an organization that supports education work with Arab and Israeli children in Israel's disadvantaged periphery. Tamar is the co-founder of LiveConnections, an organization whose mission is to inspire learning and build community through collaborative music-making. Tamar lives in Cherry Hill with her husband, Adam, and their three small children.

They are committed to living in and raising their children in a diverse and inclusive community. Ben Shore is a social entrepreneur fighting for justice. Shore also serves as an investigator for one of the nation's highest profile police departments, in Internal Affairs.

Zoe David-Lang is a third-year student at American University. She is very passionate about criminal justice reform. Zoe is very hardworking and dedicated to her work at Rise Against Hate! Nick Runyon is a young, bright, and motivated student at American University, pursing a degree in Legal Studies, with a minor in History. Nick believes that everyone is equal, and should be treated as such.

Nick is dedicated to fighting racial injustice, and bring real change to the world. He has many talents, but is currently focusing on graphic design for Rise Against Hate, creating many of the posts you'll see on our Instagram and Facebook! Lucas Rooney is a hard working, passionate, civil rights activist who joined Rise Against Hate to promote justice for all!

Lucas does visual editing and film production for our impactful video content! Lucas is a 3rd year student at American University and works for Morgan Stanley. Ebele Azikiwe is a year-old ambitious soon to be 7th grader who has a passion for making a difference. Ebele hopes to influence and inspire others in positive ways. She sees herself as a leader and hopes to impact the world in a better way. When not fighting for civil justice, Ebele's passions are fashion, modeling, cooking and baking, writing, public speaking, acting and basketball.

Anjali is a sophomore in high school and a budding activist. She is also a hip hop dancer and plays field hockey and lacrosse. Zachary Schreiber is a year-old outgoing Junior at Cherry Hill High school East who has experience working with non-profits. Being raised by a Colombian mother, Zach is a male who seeks to combat prejudice against those oppressed in our country.

Cameron is a third year student at American University majoring in Justice and Law. Additionally, he is working on various research projects, such as the Cherry Hill school-to-prison pipeline project and the Radical Justice Commission project.

In his free time, Cameron enjoys playing basketball, hiking, reading, and exploring Washington, DC. He is looking forward to working with the Rise Against Hate team and making more positive change through research projects and public awareness. She is currently a senior at Fordham University pursuing a double major in International Political Economy and French Studies with a minor in Philosophy. Born and raised in St. Croix, U. Virgin Islands, Sparkle has always had a passion for human rights and understands how inequity in society negatively affects minorities.

As a Business Major at Rise Against Hate, she will be working on projects focused on developing a marketing strategy, managing the advertising budget, and raising brand awareness for Rise Against Hate. Sparkle is known for being hardworking, funny, and kindhearted. She also has a passion for decreasing the achievement gap in education and increasing financial literacy, hoping to one day develop her own financial literacy program.

During her time at Temple, she has had the opportunity to study the importance of effective communication, language, and rhetoric in creating social and political change. Jessica applies the skills she has learned in her classes through several leadership positions. As the Press and Communications intern at Rise Against Hate, Jessica will be managing social media accounts, writing the Rise Against Hate newsletter, and helping out wherever else she can!
